Day 9 - flea-market & Carouge
Today there was Festival Science et Cité at Parc des Bastions. I went there to check out a dance performance, but it was way too bizzare... I didn't stay long and decided to walk over to the flea-market at Plainpalais. Wow! They had so much cool stuff there - old books and vinyl disks, vintage camera equipment, antique record players... Plus, of course, plenty of fascinating things like used shoes, buckets of buttons, empty bottles and such.
I saw a sign for Rue de Carouge... Carouge was only half an hour away, but very different from Geneva (not sure if it's a part of Geneva or a separate town).
It's sort of residential - a lot less touristy and almost empty. It belonged to Sardinia at some point so the architecture is supposed to be Italian-like - maybe so... I guess it does look somewhat different.
I found some bats on the way back.

Are these bats? And that bat at the bottom right... does he have a long tail, or is he just feeling happy?

Of course, they are bats! I will have to get back to you on the tail question though - I'll go back and check :)
