Day 38 - Nyon
Yesterday's whitewater-rafting in Thonon was fun, but very exhausting, and I didn't get out of bed until noon today. It was too late to go to Lausanne, so I took a train to Nyon instead. It's right across the Lake from Yvoire, only 15 minutes away from Geneva. A cute little town, founded by Caesar. There are still some Roman ruins remaining. There's also a museum dedicated to the Lake full of fish tanks with giant fish of all kinds.
I thought I would spend the rest of the day in Nyon, but it's so small that in two hours I went around it way too many times. Plus, everything was closed since it's Sunday. There were no tourists (surprise!), so it felt really empty... Pleasantly empty.

Lovin' this one! I like the contrast between the windows, yet maintains the same theme of windows all in one little package viewed through windows. I won't mention what OS I am using now.
