Day 31 - Yvoire

Yvoire is a little French village with 800 inhabitants and a medieval castle. It's absolutely gorgeous - as all of 200 billion tourists who come there daily agree. As GHL correctly observed, it looks more like a medieval part of Disneyland than a real medieval town. It is located right on the Lake (Lake Leman), and it's close enough to Geneva to be worth visiting. Don't plan on staying long though, especially if you are allergic to tourists.

I went to a walk later in the day hoping to catch the end of the sailboat race at the Lake. No sailboats but I finally saw a rainbow in the Fountain. We already went through the Fountain a few days ago :). Rainbow-bathing will, however, be a new experience!

Why does that name sound familiar? Have I been there? This is killing me!

Go to Grenoble! There isn't much touristy stuff to see, but there are mountains and there's... Grenoble...
